Two tests, to standard
The pendulum records a Pendulum Test Value (PTV), wet and dry; surface roughness (Rz) is measured in microns where floors get contaminated. We’re accredited for both, to BS 7976-2 and BS EN 16165.

A measured duty
Every employer and occupier must keep floors safe so far as is reasonably practicable, and assess the risk — under the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Workplace Regulations. In care settings, the CQC expects slip risk to be actively managed. A measured PTV is the evidence an insurer, the HSE or the CQC will accept.
